Award-winning Riley's butcher is officially one of the best in Britain after being given a golden seal of approval from a leading industry body.

Riley’s, based on Burnley Road, Crawshawbooth proved it’s a cut above the rest after receiving top marks in an independent audit commissioned by the prestigious Q Guild of Butchers.

They were awarded with the top AA grade for its standards of hygiene, quality, customer service and passion, which includes a substantial investment in expanding the premises and in new equipment, as well as the businesses’ ongoing community involvement and product innovation.

The Q Guild run the annual audit for every butcher in the guild to ensure that standards remain high, because being a member is a mark of true quality.

Geoff Riley says: “Getting a grade AA from the Q Guild is another fantastic achievement for Riley’s. Being a member of the Q Guild is something we take very seriously and to pass the audit once again shows our customers how committed we are to being the best we can be.”

Riley’s Butchers is a multi-award winning family business with a history of over 150 years. The butchers shop and deli is based on Burnley Road, Crawshawbooth.
